SWMBO has just bought a new car. Returning from a long trip she wanted to find the real achievable range on one tank of fuel. Se we had driven into town and declined filling it up wanting to wait for the low fuel warning. By the time we got back to out local town, we again declined to fill up.
Next trip out we were sure it would need filling, but didn't want to make a detour to the station we knew was cheap, so I tried a couple of petrol price websites. It showed me 2 on our route were cheap. at 132p per litre. So we passed both and I say passed, because they were in fact 139p The gallon of fuel in the can was used.
So that is a lot of ramble to ask do any of these fuel price websites actually publish up to date and believable prices? If not they are a complete waste of space and bytes.
If you know one that works and reliably publishes correct prices please share it with us.
