Bloody hell. :( We are going early May. Not booked anything yet though.
 
The big issue here is they have found a crack in a weld, who’s to say it’s the only crack.
They may well have to check every weld now, and this will take time. And if they find that the welding is sub standard god only knows what will happen to this £200 million 7 years late ferry. Then we have the Glen Rosa due to sail in September. Will they find issues with the welding on it. :mad:
 
Oh Lordy lordy! That dont sound good Bill. :( Looks like we might be going the long way round to Clanaig! Ive always fancied that to be honest. Some nice places to stop on the way up.

Bill, with the fault being located at the hull, the should be a QA evidence trail to follow, such as negatives if welds were bombed (x-ray). So any signed off documentation relating to weld procedures will be checked. Hopefully this is not too serious, but as I mentioned in my OP, it’s embarrassing 🙈

If the vessel to be dry docked, my guess would be Dales Marine Greenock facility. With Barry serenading Bill on the dry docked Sannox bow, strumming out We Are Not Sailing ……….😂⛵️⛵️🙈

I just have to work out a daft video now. That will be harder than recording the track probably. :D
