Are you over 3500kg then Barry?
The 2.3 is a powerful engine, totally incomparableto Hanks engine, what's the BHP though?
For Fred's sake, didn't you do any research???
Open the hood at least twice a week, looming problems can or may be caught in time, should be part of driving lessons for road safety. It took me ten years to find and buy that model of van so yeah I did a bit.Engines an engine innit. Never even opened the bonnet. Still haven't. Service history all checked out as did the history with the local garage which just happened to be the one I took Hank to for the past few years for MOT and other bits. It could have been peddle powered for all I care as long as it had the layout and payload I wanted.

It looks like the table that you linked to at https://www.gov.uk/speed-limits but with all the column headings moved one to the left, so that Single carriageways mph (km/h) appears above vehicle categories and no column heading above the right-hand column.

Brake flued water oil levels for a start, worn or loose fan belt, clutch cable free play if you have one.Assuming you know what to look for. They are not made of glass these engines.
