These are two of the usual stalwartsIs it a club locally or is there a national organisation?,
In a similar vein (but electric), I have just completed the repair of an Art Deco Spelter light. The hardest part was feeding the new wiring through the bodies of the ladies. I have not yet taken a photo since I finished but here are 2 'before' photos.

Lucky no gas down there.Image is from the net, I have a storm lamp, had it for over 50 year, swapped a spare set of COO cycle handlebars for the storm lamp. Still has wick intact.
It was used for illuminating our way around the under ground part of the disused brickworks at the Lady Victoria Pit.

You sound like me, not saying we are tight, just making use of things around us which are free.when we had gaslights i made shades from cut down jamjars and made coleman lantern mantles to fit
Blue or pink?Last week i was givan 2 gallons of parafin in new containers, expensive stuff these days.
