Good telly wanted

To be fair that amount in a week is a serious amount and well within what is deemed an alcoholic, you being a good person i do hope for health sake your pulling our legs.
Three bottles of wine a week for two people is considered to be a teetotal around here :ROFLMAO:
Really Trev? 3 bottles of wine and the odd whisky between 2 people! I drink far more than that in a week (and I mean several times more) and there is no way I am an alcoholic. An alcoholic is somebody who is dependant on alcohol and can't control their drinking, I am not and I'm sure Peter isn't.

I went through lockdown without a drink and it didn't bother me in the slightest apart from missing the social side of drinking. I very rarely drink at home and I'm pretty sure that most alcoholics do.

Our next door folks site out at night on the front porch with a bottle of booze and down the lot, others in the street have noticed this and past comment, esp as they do it in front of children, theres and others, aiam not sure if you know but kids are not allowed in pubs here unless a hotel serving meals.
Maybe thats why some go bonkers when 18 and drink the island dry. 😂

I must admit Trev, I don't like to see kids in a pub, especially when the parents are oblivious to the fact that they are running around shrieking and generally being a pain in the arse to everybody else. Having said that, as a toddler I was in a pub constantly, but I did live there (not that it affected me in later life of course).

I was not allowed to misbehave in front of the customers in any shape or form though, so I always just sat quietly in the corner with my pint. :)

Then the Irish dont drink as much as folk say,

I'm in love!

If I was 2 years younger...

Up to about 20 years back ladies would have never been seen in pubs here, any that did go in were seen as you know what entertainers, things have changed these days, and about time to as the old days of sawdust floors is well gone.

Bloody hell Trev. Twenty years ago is 2003!

You don't live in one of those Amish communities do you? 🤣

As long as I can remember the girls liked to go out partying and drinking in the north east. I think in the 80s they were a bit more well behaved than they were in the 90s though.

So it is, but they do have some 22'' ones for not much more, I clicked on the wrong one.
