Catbells in the Lake District. A cracking wee hill with great views. Just a bit to busy for my liking. Will be heading back up there next month. The jetty is we’re the walk started from.

Ah the Mishnish, staggered from there on many occasions back to our boat. Did you try the food fare from MacGochans?
No, we were fortunate to be there for the Christmas lights switching on which involved going into most of the shops and being given a drink, usually buying something too🤔 Ended up in the Indian restaurant which was good, Indian food served on plates marked with "Golden Dragon" and some Chinese letters😂

This trip has been geographically challenged due to the weather. Orginally heading from St. Malo down to the North Spanish coast and the Picos. The bad weather in the south forced us to hole up around Las Rochelle for a week whilst we decided between the Med or carrying on with Plan A. Anyway the forecast is better staying in France so the Med it is. Currently working our way across country. Stopped at St Jean D'Angely now at Monflanquin, tomorrow should be Gaillac............... 🤔🤔 Oh, and if you read this Paul, the cicadas are making us feel at home for the first time 👍👍

New Pentland Ferries "Alfred" catamaran being trialled on the Ardrossan - Brodick Arran run. Its a drive on and turn at the end ready to drive off the same way. A late motorhome had to reverse on. Its not a high speed craft, top speed about 17kts, but smooth. No food or drinks available on the boat., and takes about the same time for the crossing as the old "Caledonian Isle".
