Well, I was going to fit a bike rack today, but it's blowing a gale and looks like it will chuck it down pretty soon, so don't know what to do!:D
If I start, I might rush it and I don't want to do that as I would prefer to sleeve the bottom bolt holes.
Might wait for a better day:D
What is everybody else up to:confused:

I woke up in pain with my neck and shoulder so not a lot for me :)

Took a chance

Well, I took a chance with the weather and have just finished fitting the bike rack:cool:
I fitted it how a dealer would, except that I took a little extra time to make sure that everything was A1.
I didn't sleeve the bottom bolts, but I will at a later time as it did pull in a little.
Once sleeved I will be able to really tighten them.:D
No need to fit the top bolts as with a Hymer it just hooks on:cool::cool:

doing

Today hubby is getting the sheep ready for market tomorrow, bit cold here, but no choice really, I am sat here thinking how cold it is outside, its a small consolation, had to break my back though, to get to retire and enjoy this inside central heating while hes still out there in the cold LOL.

Me, I'm having a chill out day today.

Decided against trip to Church Stretton as the forcast didn't look too good, didn't turn out too bad in the end though. Went down to dads yesterday and spent most of it cutting and chopping logs.

So if anyone needs a, back ache, leg ache, arm ache or any other aillment for work tomorrow the're quite welcome to mine.

Been down to the woods today,Killed three birds with one stone:eek:(no, it's just a figure of speech);)
Visited Chopwell woods on Tyneside so,1... my son and his mate could practice their jumps on their new mountain bikes, they loved it.

2 I did a recce on possible sleepyspots for the future, Found one in particular.(I'll post pics and co-ordinates)

3. Visited my old workmate at a lovely village pub nearby which he just happens to manage for his inlaws. Very impressed and got his approval to let 2 or three motorhomes stay overnight in his car park if they wish.

Oh, and by the way, me and Jack (my savage canine) did a little walking through the forest tracks(very pleasant), of course:rolleyes: Jack was King of the Forest:D:p

Been there for the last three year for the Copwell wood festivale Lenny.
Years before that i used to take the kids there in the car i stopped going as the car was broken into:(, its a nice spot but i would not risk leaving a moto unattended. ;)

Whoa! do you use a trafic? Petrol or Diesel? Swb or Lwb?

Not bad, if you do, Mines a Swb self build with a hi-top.

dogseal.

Petrol,SWB<19 year old, autosleeper, Absolutely love it but I think it'll be going soon to help fund my new Hymer, well pre-owned Hymer or something similar.
Also have a talbot express as a winter project, also autosleeper and a little bit bigger and faster than the Trafic.

May keep the Talbot if my dream fails on the HYMER

what are you doing

Arnt you guys lucky,I,ve got the mother of headaches, having to scrap my old bus thanks to the tin worm,I suppose it could be fixed but after spending £600 last mot + a bundle thro the year have decided to call it a day. My main headache apart from finance is mobillity, am having to stay in town to look, unless I spend stupid money on a car I do'nt want then canny afford a van. I am looking at a transit locally body reasonable but oh god the inside is a typical builders shed rough as a bears **** after hibernation, but it is fairley cheap so looks like I will have to bite the bullet,Anyone want to buy a renault with full cooker fridge & fair engine & gear box.etc.I canny have two vehicles on main road.

Big difference between a HYMER or a panel van.
Mines an 1870 diesel..Economical to run. Which, What, Whatever.
Hymers are basically a caravan on a merc chassis?
flimsy.Slow.

If you do a lot of touring, as we do..MPG comes into the equation.

I can afford a hymer, dont want one, if you get stuck behind one..tough.

Just my opinion though.

You obviously have been behind the wrong Hymers and most are on a Ducato!
I get 27 mpg and running at 3500kg or over!
Flimsy you say:mad:
You don,t know what you are missing:D
