What would you use to lubricate.

KY jelly, if it can lubricate a sour faced women, then anything else would be a piece of cake. I've got my hard hat on for the feminist replies, Oh and the Mrs isn't a member of this forum, lol

If it’s awkward to get at spray a small amount of chain grease on it will stick to where you spray it.

Thanks for comments , I don't think their are any bearings just a plastic slide .makes it difficult wriggle It around when the wife is sat on it .

Be careful with what you use too much lubrication will gather all the dust and crap and make a worse job

If it has a Bearing then use what is normal for Bearings ...... Oil or Grease.
No it picks up dust and grit.(n)
After cleaning a dry graphite spray will work well.
Dont oil or grease as it will pick up crap and dust making it harder to move than wildcampers at the sea front car park. 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂

Are you trying to say that the OP is a lazy slob with a mucky motorhome full of dust and dirt? You will get into trouble for saying things like that.

Ha ha but true,i made one set of seats turn using a second hand swivel from i think a ford galaxy ,they required some bits cut of and a lock cut in to allow rear pos locking as well as front,so i striped them down, jes man the amount of dirt & crap inside was beyond belief,it was like a thick dusty lard mixed with grinding paste, one cleaned and dry lubed it was the bogs dollocks. :)

Back to the original question if you have balls then use vaseline.
If plastic then clean up and use silicone.
