If it’s awkward to get at spray a small amount of chain grease on it will stick to where you spray it.

Thanks for comments , I don't think their are any bearings just a plastic slide .makes it difficult wriggle It around when the wife is sat on it .

Be careful with what you use too much lubrication will gather all the dust and crap and make a worse job

If it has a Bearing then use what is normal for Bearings ...... Oil or Grease.

No it picks up dust and grit.
After cleaning a dry graphite spray will work well.
Dont oil or grease as it will pick up crap and dust making it harder to move than wildcampers at the sea front car park.

Ha ha but true,i made one set of seats turn using a second hand swivel from i think a ford galaxy ,they required some bits cut of and a lock cut in to allow rear pos locking as well as front,so i striped them down,jes man the amount of dirt & crap inside was beyond belief,it was like a thick dusty lard mixed with grinding paste,one cleaned and dry lubed it was the bogs dollocks.

GT85. is used to lubricate locks amongst other things and doesn't collect dust.
