Just remembered, when I lived on the Narrow boat, we had a retired copper who lived on a boat and he had an old renault traffic camper. Between the seats was a casket that contained the ashes of his old man. They were waiting for him to be transported back to his final resting place in Scotland. We were on that wharf for 6 years and dad was still between the seats when we left.
