It's also a double thick fleece so I only have it on for an hour on the timer and unless I take it off It keeps warm for ages.

One of the hardest things for us right now in hunting for a new (smaller) van is deciding what we can do without when we finally get out on the road again.

That would be the problem of (starting with?) a large van.
I moved from a single tent to a small van and so did not have a problem with stuff.

Apart from the tools tea coffee etc there is nothing in my van, I dont do long stays and overnight is about it, my cat pines and have to get home to feed him once the auto feed becomes empty.

Usually have to load a spare Hot water bottle for me, medication, spare glasses, Mi-Fi router and sim. Food from home fridge into van fridge. Rest is already in the van, just waiting for us to take off. Not that we can go anywhere at the moment

Take him with you, some peeps do. just put him on a lead and take him for a walk.

Yep. She's addicted to it and you cant buy it anywhere in Europe but the UK. When we used to disappear off into mainland Europe for half the year she would decant over a hundred jars into plastic takeaway boxes to save weight as they used to be in glass jars until recently. So under the dinette seat or up in the crows nest (Luton cab) there would be dozens of these things stacked up. Brown reddish powder in dozens of plastic boxes. I swore that one day at customs they would discover the stash and all sorts of alarms, bells, dogs and armed response units would kick off but it never happened.
