well, is this one of ours?

Our old Talbot got the old metal worm. On the rear, all four spring mounts dissolved and also part of the chassis further forward. I was wondering what to do with it while I drove over to the garage to view and arrange collection. When I got there, I was asked if I wanted to sell it. It was a 1994 with a 2.5 diesel engine. I have to admit, I also had found tome real damp bits, mainly toilet/shower. I could push my finger through the wall board! Anyway, I said yes and he asked what I wanted for it as someone had expressed an interest. I told him £2k and after calling the guy, he said he wanted it! I took all of my stuff and also the router, Gaslow system and let him keep it. Two days later, £2k in my pocket and £350 from the sale of the Gaslow kit, I was well happy.

Like others we drove all over the UK and Europe, it always got me home safe and sound and I loved it.

I've no idea who bought it from the dealer that we traded it in at, and have just checked ...... It's fully taxed and insured, and I hope to one day meet the new owners.

There's a young lad on youtube just bought an old talbot to convert into an editing office. His channel is alex the cameraman you should see the rot inside😵
