Water tank suspension brackets

I'd heard of it but never needed to look it up, I am a wiser man due to Trev, now that's a sentence I never thought I'd utter.

I’m with Trev. That looks like galvanised loop mix welded onto a stainless bolt or the welding took off the galvanising in the area. Dissimilar metals always set up a galvanic reaction and sometimes it can be hard to see. Did my time on aircraft and it’s a big thing there as well as on boats. I too spent time with the RNLI, remember if it’s a slipway or carriage boat washed off with fresh water after use the anode set up is different to an afloat boat. Try watching an aluminium yacht moor up, the second thing that happens is anodes on wires dropped over the side. Just saying.
