Water pump for 1998 Peugeot Boxer 2.5d?

VIN no. is VF3232G4215599457
Engine no. (acc. to doc) is FZ520249122
I've been along to see if I can find the engine no. on the engine itself (just in case engine has been changed) but no luck. One of the garage staff says he will have a look later today (totally snowed-under).

Snow what in August omg

The whole engine - water pump arrowed:

Looks a lot more like it - but can't see any inlet pipe at the top?

🙈🙈....if its item 1......NFP in part list means no further production. So you would have to either repair or look for that water outlet 2nd hand .
Hope this diagram helps....nothing else showing for that area sorry

Will, is this it ? If you scroll down the TECDOC EQUIVALENTS the EUROREPAR: 1623099980 part number is shown

Thats showing the original peugeot part number 1201 A5 so yes. But it seems that its not the water pump at issue but more of a pipe from coolant housing in that area if im understanding right now?

Ah ok, i haven`t read all the in between posts, is it a removable part ?
Thats the assumption im getting. That its more of a water pipe leak on a coolant housing than failure of pump itself. I may be wrong. Just how im reading it on here. Just hope they manage to sort it 👍🏼

Your first suggestion (post #27) seems much more like it - the inlet pipe appears to be at the front (part 4) instead of at the top? Maybe it would fit, dunno.

It looks like that pipe is no longer in production either 😔. If it can be removed then easier to repair. Hoses can then be guided to fit where you want them?

Is the pipe separate Will and if so has it got a part number, that`s how i found the water pump earlier by using the part number you came up with.

Have you tried coastal motorhomes they have boxer water pumps listed on there web site i buy off them very helpful guys 0102058985 next day delivery if you order before 3pm

Our old camper needs a new water pump as it's sprung a leak.

It's currently in having MOT. The garage is having difficulty sourcing a water pump.
I ordered what I thought was the right part from Europarts, who used the vehicle reg no. etc., but it's not the right one.

It's a bit of a puzzle. I intend to get down to the garage and take some pics of the engine later today when I get a chance.

Has anybody else had difficulty finding parts? Suggestions on a postcard please...!
My water pump sprung a leak from the seals so I took it apart and sealed the parts with Sikaflex. It now works without leaks and has done so for the last 12 months of touring Europe.
