Do you live in Valladolid ?Sitting in the front lounge at my Dad's bungalow several years ago, I watched a "well-to-do" lady pull her dog across the grass verge so that it could cock its leg against the front wheel of my motorhome. I was out there like a shot and made her rinse the tyre with a bucket of water from the kitchen. She was quite embarrassed!
Gordon
The guy should be locked up. If he wants to do something there was nothing stopping him bagging the sh1te, following the guy home and posting it through hid letter boxI know but the message wernt getting through, i dond agree with it but folk get pissed off when talking dont work, the dog was ok by the way.
Did we not do Gordon’s tyres at a Lochore meet Wully, I think you whizzed Gogs front and rear near side, while whizzed the off side. Of course we were inebriated at the timeIt’s time honoured tradition when I see a new motorhome i christen the back left corner wheel it’s a sign of affection and good luck. If you get caught it’s bad luck an and a black eye.
There has been folk beaten up for less here, where it happened is controlled by the boys wink wink, owner may have been from same bunch. The guy should be locked up. Reading this it does seem that the much missed Wintonian should perhaps have had a bucket of water launched at him after an incident with a dog!
Was there an additional charge for the entertainment? When we were in Barcelona we sat outside a café on the ramblas, a VERY busy tourist area. The pavement was very wide and there were a lot of tables on the pavement area. Half way through our coffee a (local?) woman hitched up her skirt, squatted and pissed on the pavement about 6 feet away from us. The street is on a slope and this resulted in a yellow river running down the pavement under the tables of the adjoining eateries. No one batted an eye

We had exactly that at one of the Steam Fairs we display at. We provide water for dogs, treats for the owners to take a few if they want and spare poo bags from a holder on the display. But still, owners let their dogs pee on the fixings, even one actually on the water bowl! I get that dogs will pee wherever, but you only have to gently tug the lead to move them. When I complained about the water bowl incident, I got a mouthful of abuse. It used to get me when we were working shows the amount of dog owners that would let their dogs p iss all over our property that we had to handle and pack away, then they would get all indignant whenever I pulled them about it. One dog does it then every other dog has to cover the scent as it passes.
Well now we all know ,often wondered why it was acceptable to have dogs peeing all over We have had dogs in the past never took them foreign though, but I see nothing wrong with pouring water maybe with a little drop of disinfectant mixed in over the dogs pee, it does stink and would get worse in the Spanish heat too , another posts suggest it is the thing to do in Germany too and why not ?Not me , my dog . She peed when crossing the square a 'concerned citizen' pulled me up . Initially I'd no idea what he was talking about and told him , in Spanish.
He wasn't having that and ripped into me again , obviously , in Spanish.
Got the gist that you have to throw water over the pee .
Not sure how I was supposed to know that .

We look after little dogs often. It is impossible to stop a dog peeing or marking, impossible.I'm in Spain too and twice, Germans have had a go at me for my dog cocking his leg. And, I do try to be careful where he does it, no street furniture, corners of site pitches, people's garden walls etc. And there's been plenty of rain over the last few days to wash it away.
Funnily enough, nobody (except us) is bothering about dogs on the non-dog beach.
I was joking with Mr 001 the other day that around now, I'd normally put the dog's remembrance poppy on his harness, but there are so many Germans here perhaps I shouldn't. I'm now giving it serious consideration.
There is a very central aire , with facilities, 5€I knew about the water thing, u must carry
water if walking a dog.
My wife's grandad attended the catholic seminar in Valladolith or valladolid, a catholic priest training centre. He was recalled to England and could'nt continue his studies. On our visit there we were made most welcome at the seminar and were given a guided tour by the principle.
As u have discovered the town is crammed with fine churches which are well worth visiting. But don't just gawp up at the magnificient ceilings, look were u are going! Did'nt end well for me crashing down a marble step. It was very cold there at the time. Good free car park right in the town for our two overnights. Some time ago now.
