Not me , my dog . She peed when crossing the square a 'concerned citizen' pulled me up . Initially I'd no idea what he was talking about and told him , in Spanish.
He wasn't having that and ripped into me again , obviously , in Spanish.
Got the gist that you have to throw water over the pee .
Not sure how I was supposed to know that .

When in Rome to wherever else, best to take note of the local customs. I fell foul of one letting my dog wee on a campsite, not even on a pitch just the overflew of the entrance road. We wee threatened with being told to leave by the owner. I wouldn't mind but a jack Russel dies about an egg cups worth. You can imagine what my wife wrote in the visitors book as we left, shan't print it here as I would be banned.

Wonder how they control the Foxes and other wildlife. Perhaps they should put signs up for them? :)

It used to get me when we were working shows the amount of dog owners that would let their dogs p iss all over our property that we had to handle and pack away, then they would get all indignant whenever I pulled them about it. One dog does it then every other dog has to cover the scent as it passes.

Chap i know had trouble with a mans dog whizzing on his gates every evening and after confronting the owner, os gate was insulated and a live wire attached, he kept watch so no kids would be near and when the dog aproched he switched on power, he said it was the first time a dog was seen airborne.

The dog was doing what comes naturally and in its eyes no wrong, although the owner could have prevented it. the chap you know deserves to be electrocuted by his own device. Failing that something similar.

Nop told the man many times to stop it as it corrodes the bottom bars on the gates, he also let it sh one t there and never cleaned up, he has not been back that way since, message received.

I'd read about rinsing dog pee site in Spain. A bottle of water is something else to carry when sight seeing. But if you've s male that pees on every lamp post, you'd need a gallon.

You can get nappies for dogs.

I'm in Spain too and twice, Germans have had a go at me for my dog cocking his leg. And, I do try to be careful where he does it, no street furniture, corners of site pitches, people's garden walls etc. And there's been plenty of rain over the last few days to wash it away.

Funnily enough, nobody (except us) is bothering about dogs on the non-dog beach.

I was joking with Mr 001 the other day that around now, I'd normally put the dog's remembrance poppy on his harness, but there are so many Germans here perhaps I shouldn't. I'm now giving it serious consideration.

Indeed you would. My dog is 10 now and she pees a lot
Point also being I had no idea this was a law .
He had a wee scoff when I told him I didn't understand. I then told him things he definitely wouldn't understand but I think he got my drift

When we were in Barcelona we sat outside a café on the ramblas, a VERY busy tourist area. The pavement was very wide and there were a lot of tables on the pavement area. Half way through our coffee a (local?) woman hitched up her skirt, squatted and pissed on the pavement about 6 feet away from us. The street is on a slope and this resulted in a yellow river running down the pavement under the tables of the adjoining eateries 😡. No one batted an eye🫣
