Hi folks
Probably a silly question but what do I need to use my normal 15inch tv in the van on 12v when im wilding? We dont usually bother with one in the summer but now the darker nights are drawing in we want to take it with us but have only ever used it when on hook up.
I have got both a camos dome and a simple push up aerial, My TV is a standard 15 inch flat screen from my bedroom at home.
Do I just use one of those 12v leads to power it into the 12v socket? or do I need something more specialised?
last time i tried to use the camos system I used one of the multi way 12v adapters from Halfords to plug in the tv and the receiver but It must have overloaded as it blew the receiver box. :scared: probably better just using the normal aerial?
I only have one 12v socket in the living area of the van and one on the dash which only works when engine is on.
Thanks
Lotty
