Lizs sister is coming over from the US (Hates Trump) for two weeks, I will be in the way of their chit chat & I'm not people friendly close up so I decided some me time might be good, so I'm looking for suggestations of where I might go it needs to be 100% wild camping UK mainland only.

I would normally head up to Scotland and still might but please post any suggestions with links & or Photos if poss of anywhere nice.

Absolutely, We used to go away after boxing day for two weeks every year, not done it for a while though but I would be moving every day regardless of the time of year, I get seriously bored when I stop for the night.
 
Still the odd place left in the Lake District Kev. I kind of agree with Merl though. Unless you are going to be doing a lot of driving how are you keeping stuff charged for two weeks. Another alternative which you will probably scoff at is seeing if Haven or somewhere like that is doing any cheap deals. They may not be open by then but I have heard of them being less than a tenner a night with hookup. You could offset the cost of that against the diesel you would save not driving around all day and every day to top up the batteries and the gas usage of course.
 
No sites under any circumcisions, Liz would chop it off, All I need to do it keep a tablet and phone topped up and the scooter if I use it at all so no biggy on that front, no TV, No blown air so power is the least of my problems, I'll take the power pack just in case the VB goes down on me.
 
Have you done Devon and Cornwall Kev? Should be quiet in February but quite a drive. We did it in winter once many moons ago after spending Christmas on the Isle of Wight. Enjoyed it but we had snow and really cold days and nights which is unusual but had the added bonus that the grass was frozen most of the time which gave us more scope for parking. I think there are a few Aires etc in Devon and Im sure you with your wilding nose will find plenty of places. Should be more relaxed that time of year.

You’ve been doing it long enough, So I think you’ll enjoy anywhere you venture. Scotland is where my heart is (Being a Cornish Celt now full time in Scotland, so I’m biased), But just have plenty of Credit on your Phone, Liz on Speed dial & a Torch so so can text her to ask where the Tin opener is & stand a chance of finding it 👍.

Surprised by comments about will you manage lol

Even with my compressor fridge I did about 6 weeks in Scotland til I couldn't get the water, in England for about a month then back up Scotland for about 2 months all without sites. A little different this time as I moved a little almost every day so didn't need to get the generator out once.

Get back up to Scotland Kev, you know it makes sense :)

Need someone to operate it
On a serious note my choice would[will?] be Scotland , Yorkshire , Devon and Cornwall . Not necessarily in that order
 
Definitely Scotland Kev. Hoping to get there myself in the new year.

For me the Cairngorms, Glencoe and Applecross would have to be on the list but I would also love to visit Mellon Udrigle.

I came through The Cairngorms via Glenshee & into Braemar again just a cpl of weeks ago in temperatures of -15°C.

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL
The Snow gates was shut a few days ago, Not so much because of the Snow, it’s the ICE that’s the problem.

I would quite happily get snowed in somewhere around the Cairngorms Paul, probably somewhere like Rothiemurchus campsite where I have been snowed in before but preferably for a couple of weeks next time, it's a stunning little site and right at the start of the Lairig Ghru.

It was in our old Motorhome and we loved it, but sadly it all thawed out after a couple of days or so.
