Two weeks in February 2025 by my own.

Try it on batteries, if the noise stops then it's the power supply. If it still whistles with batteries then move the radio around the vehicle, it should get louder as it get's closer to the source of the EMI. Cheap inverters can be noisy. (y)

You're right of course I'm not keen on two weeks by myself though, I'm more than capable on my own I miss her company if I see something interesting on my travels, no radio doesn't help either, need to get my phone full of sounds and take my BT speaker.

I'll more than likely head north depending on the weather, it was supposed to be this month which is usually milder than February.
Remember you can listen to the radio using your phone.

That's what I do all the time.

Lizs sister is coming over from the US (Hates Trump) for two weeks, I will be in the way of their chit chat & I'm not people friendly close up so I decided some me time might be good, so I'm looking for suggestations of where I might go it needs to be 100% wild camping UK mainland only.

I would normally head up to Scotland and still might but please post any suggestions with links & or Photos if poss of anywhere nice.
Have you been to Dumfries and Galloway? It is beautiful, lots of places to park and things to see. There are new promotional videos called Scotland starts here which show some of the things to see and do.

Yes, Anne, we often go up or comeback down that way if on the west side of Scotland, to be honest there are not many places we haven't been over the years, we have so many Scottish WC spots now, although a lot have gone, fenced or gated off sadly.
