Hi
Hopefully someone can help.
The tv works well for a few minutes on 12v then the picture starts to flash. A few minutes later the tv goes to standby.
It isn’t the tv as the same happens with another one.
Any ideas?

HiA low voltage signals the TV to go into stand by? It sounds like the power supply to me - or a duff leisure battery. Lights etc. pull a lot less current than a TV and won't give such a high voltage drop.
Just noticed that the fitting is a little warm so maybe this is the problem?
It’s the same tv.Did the tv work ok previously or is it a new one and the first time you`ve tried it ?
Is there a different 12v socket you can try it in ?
It’s the same tv.
Read all the replys the only time we had similar our batterys where failing and it did as you are experiencing. Other time some how it got switched to sleep timer but you've tried 2 tellys so not that. after thought unless the timer is on Your sat receiverHi

I had the same problem, it turned out to be a bad connection between the cigar lighter plug and socket. As soon as it starts flashing try twisting the plug in the socket to see if it improves connection, I solved mine with a sliver of wood to hold the plug firmly in the socket. Hope this helps.Hi
