True value or Insurance value

I love the idea of the double swivel seat the crafter has a big fuse box under passenger seat and to fit a single with swivel it’s a bit of an exercise and the double up front is handy if you carry 2 passengers it allows for a small bench seat behind drivers seat and that doesn’t have to be belted.

The biggest bonus I’m finding is the boss can drive it no bother we went out a run last night and she drove down to Helensburgh and back had to tell her to slow down a couple of times. That’s a big win win

When we bought the Crafter is was the first thing we done as we hated having to exit the cab and enter back in through the whoosh bang when we stopped.

Hey Guys,
I think that you just have to be happy with the amount ’YOU’ agree to initially Purchase the vehicle for.
Then almost treat any fit out or conversion costs as ‘Dead Money’ if you sell it sometime later as although it’s been BRILLIANT for you while you have the vehicle, Most new owners Rip it about or Change stuff to suit ‘Their’ purpose.
If it’s a ‘Van’ on the V5 & not been changed to a camper, Then it’s still a Van. 🤔

So if you buy a vehicle for say 15k
& do a 5k self conversion then sell it 4 years later. The ‘Probable’ selling price will be say 15k to someone that wants a camper at a guess 🤔🤷🏻‍♂️.

If the weight is over 3.500 = now 3.800 kg is it not hgv on log book ? 2024

I’ll have nae money left to do anything looks like an expensive exercise . Started buying stuff in to do the van. I’ll do a Go fund me page with every donation of a £1 donated I’ll give you a week without Glen Campbell. 🤑
how do we sort out a weekly subscription? :D

How do I say this Honestly. I have had and drove every light comericial van pick up truck they are all shite . Now if you want my honest opinion. Buy something German
Being an HGV mechanic I’ve been underneath every light commercial van pick up truck and agree they are all shite. That’s why I would only buy German.

I'm quite happy with my French van, it's lovely to drive, doesn't rot and I have never had any major problems with it. (that could be the kiss of death!)

I would love an Iveco Daily 4x4 though which I think are still made in Italy?

You’ll like this one, not 4x4 sadly but for sale on auction site. I too have a French peugeot boxer with 160bhp engine and it pulls like a train, I love it ..IMG_1091.png

If that’s Puch 500 it will be worth a lot of money, they made 500’s in Graz in the 70’s but I’ve never seen one.
Yes, it's a Puch, that one was in the Steyr Puch museum. Think I've seen 3, and 2 were at the museum.

Suicide doors are the give away, if I remember correctly.
