Towing mx 5

Get a proper trailer and you can SAFELY tow both your toys and whatever you want. Safer more practical easier to tow and reverse and just generally handy. Don’t know what I’d do without my trailer and I don’t have a sports car or a trike😂.

The best way to tow a trike IMHO is to put the rear wheels onto a non-pivoting platform and use the front wheel like a castor. Vastly easier to reverse with a single castor action wheel because it is like a longer MH instead of a trailer. Also, if the weight on that front wheel is under the legal requirement for brakes, perhaps you don't need over-run arrangements...this you would need to investigate, because I don't know the answer. :)

For towing a car, I would put it on a trailer with over run brakes.

Best of luck and enjoy the roads :)

Don't forget IF you build your own trailer it will need an IVA...

Not if you tell them its 20 odd years old, everyone builds trailers here and dont give a s-it, nor does the police, here is one I did earlier for a chaps garden cutting tractor, and a six wheel one for my boat.
