Top places to see UK South Coast?

Don’t knock parkdean resorts they are great out of season and as cheap as chips we used to pay £6 including EHU out of season at Walton on the Naze.
hey Annie. I like the Parkdean and Haven sites.. nice shower / toilet blocks and facilities etc. Many happy times camping with my two lads and my grandkiddies over the years. I didn't realise that some were open to camping out of season. Thanks for this info.

Dilemma time. Currently in South Devon probably for another week or so just outside Salcombe and we love it here. The next stop was going to be near Lyme Regis in West Dorset for a week at a CL we went to last year. From there we were going to slowly head east all along the south coast probably into the Autumn and as far as Kent. We have done bits of it many years ago but the Dilemma at the moment is whether we should bin all that and head west into Cornwall and then back up through North Devon but we did all that last year so maybe we should be seeing some "new".

Michelle likes to walk, especially coastal walks and I just like to fly about on the scooter, have a swim (when and if it ever gets warm enough) and just take in the scenery. We prefer small coastal villages to large towns or cities. So what would be your top places to see between Dorset and Kent, inland as well as coastal? Where is ideal for walking and biking and great scenery (Coastal and inland)?
I travel in Sussex and Kent a lot. My favourite stop off spots are Arundel (park along road towards nature sanctuary), West Wittering (I haven't done this with the camper so check parking situation first), Lewes (there are 24 hr carparks on the river for £10 - head for the Phoenix industrial estate), Rye Town (another £10 24hr car park on the river just before you head into town), Rye Harbour (head for Rye harbour carpark and park on road outside) , Dungeness (haven't done this with camper so check parking situation first), Margate (park at bottom of winter gardens), Reculver Park (£10 for 24hr parking).

No overnighting is allowed in any of the West Bay car parks. Motorhomes are only allowed in one car park, which does not allow any overnight parking of any vehicle - although the notice does say overnight parking is free. As with the rest of Dorset, the daytime charges are extortionate

Thanks everyone for the replies. I'm more interested in places to see, walks and good rides out on the scooter though than where to park the van. It will be long stays on hidden off grid CLs all the way if possible. As we tend to stay in one place a while and use the bike it's not really ideal to try and find wild spots and no need to worry about parking the van.
