How about an (intro) page with a slideshow of the best wilding spots - much like Adventure Rider Motorcycle Forum (allow time for the slideshow to start). Or just great scenery that people have found in their travels.

As a new member i think this site is spot on. Loads of info on all aspects of motorhoming from what appear to be mature friendly people willing to share knowledge. Yes you can pay by Cheque but it is REALLY important that you write your username on the back of the cheque!

about half the cheques I got last year had no username and as I dont know peoples names and addresses I was unable to cash them or give them membership until the contacted me to find out what was going on.

Just a wee reassurance to ur wife.I was very wary when my man and I first started wild camping.But for fourteen years we travelled all over uk and eire wild camping,being away for several months at a time for the first four years we had our Autohomes Avalon and never had any problems at all.In all that time we were only six or seven nights on sites.I am devestated that we had to sell our van recently and don't think we can afford another for foreseeable future.I just can't come to terms with weekends and holidays at home.So keep your fingers crossed for us having a wind fall or coming across a wonderful bargain
