Trouble is 9 times out of 10 the footage looks like it's been filmed on a potatoe ...a family motorhome was stolen in alcester. the thief was caught on cctv.
after a week went by the police hadn't come to look at the footage.
tony
Alcester is covered by Warwickshire Police.Overstretched?, just parked in Worcester to walk dog on racecourse 3 police vehicles parked on McDonald’s, returned after 50 minutes, still there!! This is the force that covers Alcester
Surely They're entitled to breaks ....like any other line of work.Overstretched?, just parked in Worcester to walk dog on racecourse 3 police vehicles parked on McDonald’s, returned after 50 minutes, still there!! This is the force that covers Alcester
You’re right, maybe they were just having an early lunch at 10am.Surely They're entitled to breaks ....like any other line of work.
As part of cutbacks after the last financial crisis, police budgets were reduced by 20% and numbers of police reduced, whilst crimes increased. But they’re not alone the same applied to the fire service, the armed forces, and many other public bodies. So yes the police are overstretched.Overstretched?, just parked in Worcester to walk dog on racecourse 3 police vehicles parked on McDonald’s, returned after 50 minutes, still there!! In England and Wales there are now 20000 more officers than in 2019. In Scotland there are now 1000 less than 2019.As part of cutbacks after the last financial crisis, police budgets were reduced by 20% and numbers of police reduced, whilst crimes increased. You do realise they don't all clock in at 9 am and off at 5 pm ...You’re right, maybe they were just having an early lunch at 10am.
2 earlies 7-4, 2 lates 2-midnight, 2 nights 10-7 followed by 4 off ,so assuming they were on earlies then they were taking an hour for breakfast. You do realise they don't all clock in at 9 am and off at 5 pm ...
So a 10+% chance the video might be useful . Worth a look surelyTrouble is 9 times out of 10 the footage looks like it's been filmed on a potatoe ...
And is of little help identifying anyone ...
On top of that vehicle theft is seen as low priority by an overstretched and underfunded force .
Wee bit misleading surely ?In England and Wales there are now 20000 more officers than in 2019. In Scotland there are now 1000 less than 2019.
IF its not been recorded on a potato and they are Ed hooded up etc etcSo a 10+% chance the video might be useful . Worth a look surely
Seems fair to me ....they likely won't get another chance for the rest of (even standard) shift ....2 earlies 7-4, 2 lates 2-midnight, 2 nights 10-7 followed by 4 off ,so assuming they were on earlies then they were taking an hour for breakfast.
If they bothered to have a look they might find these things out .IF its not been recorded on a potato and they are Ed hooded up etc etc
And if someone recognises them
That's my point though ....they have probably looked at hours and hours of footage in the past and it's usually of no help ...If they bothered to have a look they might find these things out .
Sorry your argument just doesn't stand up .That's my point though ....they have probably looked at hours and hours of footage in the past and it's usually of no help ...
They just don't always have the man power to waste .
