if i think i,m in the right i will argue . its not a problem . they just arrest you and take you to a station then get an interpreter .
its easy just to run away thats what makes it hard for others .
we have to watch the watchers . they get it wrong far more than us .
dont have to be nasty just be firm .
there are many that still tip there cap to anyone that thinks they are authority whether they are right or wrong . but not me .
stand up for your rights dont slither away .

All very laudable Alan, but first of all you've got to be reasonably sure that you are in the right, very tricky especially for most non Spanish speaking when on holiday in Spain, who's got time or inclination to go looking thru' foreign laws, have you? And never mind the interpreter make sure you pay up front for an English Speaking Abogado in addition.

yes i do have the time and sometimes set it up deliberately . i enjoy annoying them .
same in morocco . have a permit to park wild any where in tiznit province . after a bit of hassle in tafroute . he who dares wins . all signed and stamped by the govenor of tiznet. after all its only a game .

Didn't know you were a bit of a sadist Alan....poor old cops almost feel sorry for them. Permit to park wild in Tiznit Province eh? Must say that's a privilege I'd rather not have won. Just joshing it's only a game after all!! Tafroute permit would be preferable.

you know i,m not joking . all good fun .
i was parked at a place i saw you last winter in spain . the next year they said about the towel. towel in side parking . then put kettle on make a coffee . same guardia . very friendly . i even gave a catalan police man a copy in catalan after the guardia brought me back it was a joke non had seen the document till i showed it .
mind i dont like uk police either . ha ha .
tafroute is in tiznet province . mind ciedein taghazoute as a rough time when we are there . one year we got the caid (mayor )sacked . its not difficult . the new one is much more friendly . remember i am alibaba grande djelaba .

Thanks to Alan I also have the document in Catalan and Spanish. Never needed it as I try not to upset anyone by wild parking. I prefer solo and rarely park with others.

I feel more secure on my own. It is the packs that attract the wrong doers as they see lots of easy pickings with little effort.

I will have the signs on next time we are down in Spain, but if the police asked me to move on I wouldn't bother arguing. I might politely ask what the problem was & why, but there is always somewhere else to go so don't see any point in wasting time in arguing the point.
