Moved on to this area (Mojacer Vera) from a cool and blustery Benidorm. Never seen so many wild campers in this part of Spain. The few I have chatted with have all said the same. They moved here from the Malaga area (and from Costa del Luz and the Algarve) becuase of the s**t weather.
If you are thinking of moving be prepared to squeeze in with the rest of the wildcampers and unless you have an aire or campsite booking forget it. Fortunately some local aires do permit wildcampers to use their service points for a nominal fee.
Currently enjoying a dry but windy 25 degrees with night time temperatures not dropping below 19 degrees.
Whilst there are prohibition signs, because of the numbers the police have clearly made the decision to not move motorhomes on. Must be good for local food stores and hospitality venues.
