Sites or wild spots by waters edge?

I think I may have found the perfect spot for our rock n' roll god.
Access to canal couldn't be easier. Head north on the navigation and you'll find the lovely rural areas of Tottenham, Waltham Cross, etc. Head south, you'll get to the Thames.
Proper urban wilding. You'll even get an audience when the guitar come out. :)

And you even get the privilege of paying the congestion charges as well.

Semerwater £10 pn or give Carl the farmer an old tool or clock and get it for free. Maybe too close for you though.

PS. Had a real Raquel Welsh moment last time there. Chilling over a cuppa one morning gazing across the lake, then a very busty attractive lady stepped out of the water. Turns out she lives in Hawes and wild swims the lake most days.
Worth the camping fee alone.

That's just up the road from home.

Last year on Arran on a favourite secluded wild spot we had a young woman pull up and go naked wild swimming literally right in front of the van. Well I say "swimming" it was more cavorting about and jumping up and down 😎. She was either an exhibitionist or clearly unaware the van was occupied.

Any more ideas for Wales? I need Wales selling to me though as I am of the opinion it rains there 365 days of the year. 😁

Bala lake. Cracking kayak spot & site right on the waters edge.

If your travels take you to Dumfries & Galloway, Loch Ken , nice site right on the waterside or if you hit the coast, Rockcliffe, Kippford areas with some excellent sheltered coastal inlets.

Hope you find these useful.
Me and my son had some cracking weekends at these spots, before he grew up and discovered beer & women !

PH Lowsonford. You can probably launch into the canal from the pub garden. I can't remember but @Canalsman can probably tell you. Good beer and good food as well.

Not very observant are you, I prefer Raquel though.

Fleur de lys https://www.thefleur.co.uk/

One of our favourites.
In Oct 2019 we were on the M20 heading to the Fleur for an overnight on the way home from the tunnel when a load of illegals jumped out of a truck about 10 vehicles in front of us!

Motorway closed for 5 hours while the boys in blue handled it. (less than a week after the 30 died in Essex).

Phoned the Fleur and found they close the kitchen before we would get there so went to Stratford Leisure Centre.

Arrived home the next day, turn the TV on and watched the Prunella Scales & Tim West having a meal at the Fleur!

We had over a week there beginning of February and never saw any rain, but.
Didn't you do Pembrokeshire? Any good?

I'm thinking Bala lake then work our way down to Pembrokeshire but will likely just find a remote CL for a week or so there and go off on the bike.
