They're great! I've owned a couple over the decades (one was my Mum's and cast iron!) but must have had a clear out at some point and ditched them - shame.
I remember being totally hooked on cheese and onion toasties when I was expecting my first child! Couldn't even stomach looking at one for years afterwards though :raofl:

My last one was very like this...

oh WOW .. my mum's friend brought one of these back from south africa when i was a kid... i lurved it !!! haven't seen one for years..... would they work on an electric halogen hob in my kitchen at home?

Slightly OT and you need electric , At home I use my toaster on its side , go liberal with fillings and it works a treat ...
