retire early

hi walkingsoul well there are several mountains in spain. but by the coast its not too hilly . water is every where just look hard . as for free camping ,i have only used two campsites in spain for maybe the last 30 yrs . i normally just folow the coast .well have to get across from santander to barcelona region. but its ok. then round the coast to santander again. very often with morocco thrown in as well. dont know about coal .or even fire wood . i have a gas catalytic heater might have used it three times in 12 years . then only up the mountains. i normally leave uk in november return end of april. eternal summer is the game. i do have gas lighting that takes any chill off . but we do try to avoid the cold anything below 18c and we arent happy.

Coal over here is a bit dear and hard to fined wood everywhere as long as you dont cut it down if its on the floor you can take it if it is on public land. never paid for would all the time i lived here but many brits do Spanish think is funny burning money :scared: Dont take any notice of Alan there all he knows about Spain is when Lidl,s got an offer on Drink :lol-049::lol-049::lol-049::lol-049: How you doing Alan nice and hot now.

hiya ken .yes lovelly here now . why would i need wood .its not that cold in winter ,not by the coast. and yes .had any good brandy reductions lately .hee hee. hopefully we shall annoy you later on this year .let me know when it will be most inconveniant to call .i shall call then ha ha . actually the sun isnt shining today but its warm . give my regards to the family . be good if not be carefull. cheers alan.

I am now 59 and I retired when I was 48 due to ill health I was lucky that my wife and I owened a medium sizes specialist cleaning company that we sold and we are able to live on the funds plus a private pension, Now when I was at work I knew what I was doing every day and every thing was planned but now retired that is when the problems start What to do? should I go away for a week or should I make it two should I have a lay in or get up there are more problems to being retired than you think.
Mind you I could never go back to work now because I do not have the time.
