Hi as anyone got an empty Repsol gas bottle they want to sell? Hi have the regulator already, just need an empty bottle I can exchange once we get to Spain.

I know its said its difficult to get the first bottle in Spain I only tried once but had no problem getting one at the first Repsol garage I came to. And if Your going as far as Portugal you'll have no trouble at all

We have only just come back from Spain and went to a market and saw the odd ones for sale for €10, but unfortunately we were flying home so had no way of bringing it back to the UK.

No I bought it some where on the E80 Burgos to Villa Formosa road 7 yrs ago just a large truck stop with garage. But You'll have no problem getting a bottle in Portugal but it will be more expensive than Spain Repsol are exchangeable in both countries same bottle same regulator as are Cepsa

if you're not Spain long ,just use a calor bottle and discard when empty

If you`re interested in either of the links Caz has given i`m sure the WC pony express would kick in and help get it to our area.

There are members travelling up and down the M6 every day so the Edinburgh one shouldn`t be a problem and maybe meet them on say Lancaster Services ( M6 )

That would be wonderful if I could get it from Edinburgh to Lancaster at it's only up the road from Blackpool were I live. How do I go about this, do I put a comment on the forum

Thanks everyone who responded, I have now been to our local council skip yard and they have a pen full of gas bottles, managed to get a Repsol bottle for £10.00, if it's of interest to anyone I also saw some Calor bottles, again £10.00.
