Repsol gas bottle

Thanks everyone who responded, I have now been to our local council skip yard and they have a pen full of gas bottles, managed to get a Repsol bottle for £10.00, if it's of interest to anyone I also saw some Calor bottles, again £10.00.

Glad you got sorted

The guys at my local tip ( Farington, Penwortham Bypass ) refuse point blank to sell you anything including bottles and say it`s more than their jobs worth :mad2:

Does very much vary site by site.... My nearest one is very strict... The next closest are very helpful when it comes to stuff like gas, bottles and anything else they deem decent enough to sell on (proper recycling to me)

It`s a shame really because it`s one of the larger waste / recycling centres and is only 5 minutes from my house but they are a right bunch of ******* that work there :mad2:

P.S. I`ll let you fill in the asterisks :scared: :lol-049: :lol-049:

My local tip is the same, won't sell anything because once discarded it belongs to the Waste company. I would have thought it would have been in the Waste company's interest to sell as much as possible, but apparently not.

So much for recycling.

Blackpool councils tip on Bristol Ave has a recycling shop, it's amazing to look around to see what others have deemed as rubbish, the council staff watch what is been unloaded and recycle it in the shop, it's about the only thing our council is good at though.
