I've just got home from 9 weeks travelling from Scotland, through France, to Spain and back. Lets just say the trip was not without incident and now I need replacement parts and repairs!
I normally order parts for delivery from EmmBee Motorhomes in Heywood, Lancashire but when they checked, some parts are no longer available from Burstner. I am looking for a replacement panel for over a wheelarch, and the folding metal steps for accessing the rear bed.
As the parts are not available from Burstner, can anyone suggest anywhere else I could try? Or is there such a thing as a motorhome breakers yard for second hand parts?
That's my first cry for help. The second is I now have a hole about the size of a dinner plate on the side of my motorhome where the outer skin has peeled open like a Frey Bentos pie! Emmbee Motorhomes said it would cost a fortune to replace the whole panel and recommended I should get it filled and painted by a good body shop, (who may also be able to fix the broken panel over the wheelarch). I live in West Lothian, Scotland. Can anyone recommend anyone for my bodywork repairs.
Thanks in advance.
