£2 a bottle at Tesco if you have a club card.

I know some say it is a waste of money but I am 100% certain our petrol car runs smoother on it. Can't say for certain about the MH but a quid's worth of Redex every full tank of diesel, I'll just carry on adding it.

Chap on utube in USA does all the tests on oils and additives, have a look at some, many are just snake oil, slick 50 is a pure con, many like wynns stp also did very bad.
I did find myself that a pint of cellulose in my home heating oil cleans the burner jets and inside the boiler unit, don't put this in a van please.

Everyone few thousand miles I'll put in a can of Liqui-Moly fuel treatment in so help keep the pump, lines and injectors clean. From here a can is about £8

A drop of cooking oil does the same, liq moly was one of the big failures he tested, did nout.

When you read the label for the diesel one I think kerosene makes an appearance. I seem to remember half a pint of paraffin to a full tank in a diesel mixer perked it up somewhat.

It's less than that Ral, is the bottle not a 4 shot measure?

Sorry its four shot on the Diesel bottle, I purchased a multi pack from Costco on the way to Orkney.

I find getting the boiler serviced once a year is a better idea Trev. 😂

No real servicing in boilers, just dose and leave alone, my last boiler went 30 years with only being opened and cleaned twice along with jets and swirl unit, put two bottles of diesel injector cleaner in each fill of oil and leave the boiler alone.

Don't know about the petrol additive but few years back I had no end of blocked dpf issues with a diesel saab. Went into limp mode 10 miles into a 250 mile drive back from the Midlands. In desperation I threw 1 and half bottles of redex I had in the boot into the tank and about 30 miles up road it cleared!
