Hello everyone! I want a couple of games to keep in the van and thought it would be fun to get some suggestions from you all. I'm a big fan of retro board games but they could be newer ones instead, or card games or similar. What, if any, do you have in yours? Must obviously not take up too much space either when stored or in play, so Risk and Twister are out :-D You can always ditch the box though I guess which will help.

Tiddlywinks as a kid my parents kept us quiet with. Pictionary is a good game too for something a bit more modern. Jenga can be fun too when slightly inebriated

Channa

Call of Duty Modern Warfare was good but I expect you dont want an X-Box in your van :)

Yahtzee, eye spy. :lol-049:Or on a cold winter night a game of hide the sausage can heat things up.

Two packs of playing cards & travel scrabble.

Neil has all sorts of weird new card & counter-type games, some he's made up himself.

You can get Card variations of the classic Board Games which can be quite good fun. We have Monopoly and Cluedo. which might be worth checking out if you like the old ones.

Triominoes, mahjong, not difficult but can last a fair while when the weather is miserable.

Retro games?
Well when I was younger we would play doctors and nurses, that should keep you happy when it's wet and miserable outside.

Enjoy Carcasonne, packs small, but needs a reasonable sized table to play but we get by on a campervan sized table. Lost Cities is good and small. Started getting into Rivals for Catan last winter. Again, needs a reasonable table.

Mapple is good fun, and free :)
