I am undergoing Cardioversion on the 23rd of this month, using what in effect is a defibrillator, albeit, a defib machine is generally used in an emergency. However, the principal is the same.
Hopefully, a defib will not be necessary, if it is, it is because I am dead but don't let that put you off buying a raffle ticket. If you don't, I'm going to haunt you to your dying day.
They are only £5 each.
Cardioversion is a procedure that uses a controlled electrical shock to restore a normal heart rhythm in patients with certain types of abnormal heart rhythms, or arrhythmias. It's a common treatment for conditions like atrial fibrillation and atrial flutter. The procedure involves delivering a carefully timed electrical shock.
Boris was a stubborn bugger and wouldn't stay dead, I say thank goodness for that, for defib machines and for the NHS.
I can't believe I actually wrote that about the ugly old b4st4rd but he did give me a gun!
