Oops. Big bang. Bent suspension?

OK. So I was being over confident and drove off the tarmac into the verge. A bit of a drop, but nothing compared to some pot holes. Heard a big bang and steering went really hard, difficult to steer back onto the tarmac. Pulled over to check. All looked OK. No restart as fuel cut off had been activated, thinking I'd crashed.
Friendly YouTube told me where to disable the cut off and on I drove.
But I could hear a noise. Pulled into a Sainsburys car park. Had a good look underneath. Rear passenger tyre being shredded on the inside as it's touching metal.
A knowledgeable tyre man said I'd probably bent the rear suspension. The insurance have passed us to Halo Portsmouth who can't get a large recovery vehicle to us till Monday.
We we supposed to catch a ferry tomorrow morning to start our Morocco trip. 😔
We have Goldschmidt rear air suspension. Do you think the big bang was our rear air bag exploding? Could it also have bent the suspension?
Any idea on repair time?

The silver linings are that it happened here. And that Sainsburys has a never ending supply of red wine. 😳

I'm no mechanic but unless you hit the verge at speed and came off the verge at speed, I very much doubt it would have damaged the suspension. If you were heavily overloaded then could be possible I suppose?
Can you see any damage to the air suspension?
Hope all works out for you without too much cost and hassle.

Try taking some measurements , dose the wheel look to be pushed back see how many you fingers fit between the tyre and the wheel arch compared to other side , is the camber the same on both sides you could check the wheels are parallel by checking with a tape measure the distance between the front and rear of both rear wheels as a rough guide to check the rear tracking , any damage or miss alignment could be found by having a full geometry check , a geometry check is not a long job so should not cost a fortune , can't comment on air suspension apart from the fittings bent or dislodged,

Separate to the van problem, watch you don't end up with big parking charge for overstaying at the Sainsbury's carpark.
If it is managed by a 3rd party, the shop manager may have no say in letting you stay without a problem until Monday.
Good point.

Worth while popping in and talking to customer services.

In the past I've had my MoHo added as a visitor from the supermarket HQ. They said I was working there for a week.!

The cheapest full bottle that I can find is £4.75

I got a penalty parkin charge ,went into battle and won , I was in a car park next to my bank , when I got the ticket I went to the bank with the ticket they said no problem we have an agreement with the car park company leave it to us , I later got a letter saying the charge has been withdrawn , also I drove to hospital parked up I was kept in for nearly a week ,I told the ward sister of the situation she ok I will repot this to car park she came back later and told me she had contacted car park and no penalty would be issued.
