One week in Scotland - help needed

June was dreadful. and to make matters worse it followed a long cold wet spring so not at all conducive to the bees building up well.

Last time we were up that way we headed West (pretty much skipped straight up above Fort William)
And bought ourselves a cheap road atlas from a garage THEN set off exploring spall dead end roads ending at the sea or little coves etc....
We found some fantastic deserted spots that aren't plastered all over the Internet....

Get out and explore.... It's all part of the adventure ;-)
If I could just ask whereabouts was picture 1 and 3 taken at?

We've just done a week in Scotland. This was our itinerary:
Friday night: The Drovers Inn car park, loch Lomond area pub stop over got permission & enjoyed live music in the pub.
Saturday Night: The Clachaig Inn at Glencoe parked up on verge right outside pub & another evening of live music. It's hotel guests only in their car park.
Sunday night- A climbers Car park opposite road entrance to Clachaig.
Monday & Tuesday night: Lidls Car Park Fort William. As council car parks are ALL anti overnight stays, signs everywhere!! We did a shop in Lidl & politely asked manager who was lovely- No problem at all & told us to disregard the signs in the Lidl car park as they are not enforced. We had 2 peaceful safe nights as it's well light and it's next to a car park where the truckers sleep over night. We had a day trip up to Glen Nevis & back to Lidls for the second night. It's less than a 5 minute walk into town & into Wetherspoons cheap as chips for food & drinks on the evenings.
Last 3 nights spent completely Wild at Glen Etive, take your pick for spots, plenty of them. So beautiful & peaceful.

A Lidl car park in Fort William is hardly wildcamping?

We enjoyed Fife and found a few WC spots. We really liked the one we found at Anstruther on the quay. We also visited Findhorn Bay near Inverness and it was absolutely freezing in June. Loads of signs No Motorhomes.

Findhorn bay now allows overnights and has honesty boxes to contribute to the upkeep.

Findhorn last month

Thanks this sounds like a plan 🗺 👍
We are sitting in the car park at Ratagan right now. Thoroughly recommend it- stunning location and the drive here past Loch Lomond and through Glencoe was amazing.

Got to be west coast use A82 past lock lomond.Great wild camping spot at Bridge of orchy with good hotel very near then head to Glencoe and then onto fort William after that it certainly becomes more remote with so many wild camping spots you will be spoilt for choice ,go up every year never fails to hold me awe the sheer beauty and solitude

Only stop at Fort William for fuel, cannot wait to get out of the place ! It’s a bigger dump than where I live lol. The last time My late wife and yours truely ventured along the high street for want of a better description there were shops boarded up, pigeon nests in shop doorways - what a sh-t hole !
