I've not seen any evidence whatsoever of Andy Murray behaving like a 'spoilt kid' in this year's Wimbledon. In fact he seems to have matured a lot since his early days. He's not exactly a bundle of fun and is rather serious but that's his character and being serious and earnest isn't a crime! Just for once can't we celebrate his incredible hard work in reaching this peak in his career?
I'm not sure if he's got what it takes to beat Federer, who is ranked one better than he is and has much more experience but I shall be rooting for him as will most of the U.K.
Good for you Andy, the first Briton to reach the finals in 74 years. Even if you lose that's an achievement in itself!

Typical British attitude,...and yes I disagree
He might as well have lost first round if he loses the final both count as a loss and most people don't remember losers.
Next thing people will be spouting taking part is what matters.
I personally think there are better players, and perhaps this is his moment.
On the British thing, the lad is a Scot for whom I quite like, however his anti English slips...induce a feeling within I hope he loses, and hopefully by a country mile
Channa
If he wins I wonder if Rhyming slang for a curry will change to an "Andy" rather than a "Ruby"?
Doesn't have the same ring to it really does it?![]()
Typical anti-British attitude! So to be second best in the world isn't an achievement? What is that that makes some people so hateful that they can say things like this: "I hope he loses, and hopefully by a country mile." And yes, taking part is also important, that people have strived and trained is important, that people lose with dignity is important.
And why, in a thread about Andy Murray, can't you simply give your views on Andy Murray? Why do you feel the need to attack me and my views? I thought that Phil had warned everyone about this kind of baiting and unpleasant behaviour?
Vernon you bad boy .
Nooooooo
He has only won 7 wimbledon titles !
Played in 8 finals though !
