In last weeks "North Wales Weekly News" there was a piece on parking on Conway Quay and it's problems, but sadly it mentioned that last year, a campervan stayed parked in the disabled bay for four days.
They did have a blue badge, so there was nothing that could be done.
I hope this wasn't a member of this forum as incidents like this only alienate the public and council.
Living in an area where there is a very high population of older people, many of whom have blue badges, myself included, this selfishness stops others using the facilities.
Used sensibly the blue badge scheme is great, but sadly it is abused by car drivers as well as motor homes etc, but the size of our vehicles makes us stand out.
If it was a member, please don't do it again, it stops the slow work I'm doing to grind away at the council.
PS, the Old Colwyn end of the prom is to be redeveloped, I'm pressurising councillors to accept MH as a tourist asset and put facilities in place, there's also talk of facilities for fishermen as well. We'll see!!
