Try a scaling down the size of a vacuum pipe to a bit of Heavy duty Hoze pipe & see if that helps.of a really powerful Vacuum nozzle.
I use similar under the engine in my Engine bay on the Boat & Found ALL sorts of ‘Long Lost’ stuff & Treasure

Use a sock or pair of tights within the pipe and save you searching through the dustbag.

Thats the problem. You can't easily remove the bench lid. I did get that side panel out about 1 cm. Enough to shine torch down and there is nothing down there I can see. If it doesn't appear after tomorrow when we move ill see if I Can get an angled screwdriver in to remove the bed supports which I think will then allow me to remove the bench lid and see behind.

No. Not sure it will fit. Both of us have felt around many times where you can get to but nothing.

Worth asking, we have two little storage pods above the cab doors, can't see or feel in them, so use the video to see into the bottom of them.

I feel your pain, in the last few months I’ve lost the hoselock end down the water filler and a SIM card under the floor Both were found with cheap ALDI endo scope and retrieved with a mechanics flexible grabber device see picture . Saved my bacon but still haven’t heard the last of it good luck

Who was it mentioned taking a video? Pudsey maybe. So close but no cigar. Yet. The video worked and I can or could see the ring right in the far side next to the side of the van and under some pipes. Can't get my arm in so I poked around with a knife and now I can't see it on the video but it's there. As long as it can't get out it's hopefully safe. I may have to look at taking it all to bits again. Good idea about the video though cheers

Try a bit of welding wire with a we hook bend on the end, thin and easy to get in tight places.

New approach for tomorrow. I have built my own inspection camera I sh*t you not!

Droidcam app on the phone and client on the laptop. Stick the phone into the hole behind the seat and watch live on the laptop screen. Find ring, poke it out with a coat hanger, Go down the Winchester, have a nice cold pint, and wait for all of this to blow over. thats the theory anyway.
