Lithium conversion - Tis done!

Not a chance that I would replace working kit without a very good reason. Like replace diesel heater when I can no longer get diesel. Diesel will probably stop being available before gas lol

Dunno if you have noticed but Calor already do biogas that connects to a van and uses all the same regulator/jets

Oh yeah. They are banning all the dirty fuels! Will just have to hope the Flux Capacitor becomes a reality and knocked off Uranium from some dodgy Libyans.

Has anyone thought of linking the van to houshold cutting down electric bill, sure there would be pleanty for a tv c heating or lights, just a thought.
I have now bought a 3 way 100ah switch to do so if a power outage, i can use solar or gen set.

The only other consideration though Barry is that we need to think about what appliances we have on at the same time due to the 2000w limit from the inverter and then considering that the 'fridge will kick in now and again because that will be permanently on.

I do however have an isolator switch for the fridge so it may be a matter of just remembering to switch it off for half an hour whilst using the Air Fryer for example.

I'm sure we will get used to it though.
Why not get a bigger inverter Rob?

Ive been doing it for years Barry lolol
We did it this afternoon: sat inside the M/home, clearing out the surplus kit, so used the inverter to make a cup of coffee and sat in the afternoon sun, sheltered from the breeze. LB dropped from 13.51v in Float Mode to 12.99v, with the Induction Hob set at Level 3, enabling the Solar to churn out just over 6.0v throughout the boil. LB back at 97% SOC a few minutes ago, and Bulk charging on, with sun beginning to move out of 'direct line' charging as the height and angle begin to move away from the solar panel
