I was looking at a Peugeot a few weeks ago with the same so called fault when someone was checking their lights after hooking up a trailer and it turned out to be the alarm immobiliser. As soon as they pressed they alarm remote all the lights worked again ok

Loads had 100w lights 30 years ago, they weren't often gas though.

130/90w halogen in my soda 25 years back, still have boxes of bulbs here.

Yes they went of when the engine was running I was driving at the time

If schools taught folk to change bulbs fuses and change a wheel etc life would be 100 times better, teaching someone to play a recorder just don't cut it.
