Let’s talk headlights

an update because I hate threads that don’t have conclusions so it went to the garage to have the lights sorted and Kevin mechanic says what you guys say that it’s highly unlikely that 2 bulbs blow together unless it’s something more serious so he checked out fuses wiring and relays all ok so it seems that it was just simply 2 bulbs out and a rear light and a side skirt light all fixed £90 👍

Bulbs should be about £15 tops plus a few bucks for changing and ten mins to sort, £90 well done kev robbing the ladies.

If he did the job in 10 minutes its because it took him 10 years to learn how to do it in 10 minutes. You pay for the years not the minutes !

Yes most charge by the hr, my min bench charge is £25 and that's for having a look for folk, otherwise there would be a queue at the gate.

£90 doesn't sound outrageous to me for 4 bulbs and some diagnostics.

Once took me over an hour out in the wind and rain to change a headlight bulb :ROFLMAO:

Unless you know what your doing you can get yourself in a bit of a pickle trying to fit a head lamp bulb. Watched our up his own arse neighbour trying to fit a pair of wiper blades to his golf after a couple of hours I went out and fitted them in seconds for him. He had even let the wiper arm slip out his hand and crack the windscreen.
