Lest ye forget.....

Se what the Black Barrister says on the matter...

He is running a monetised YouTube channel and although what he says may be factual in parts, he also sensationalises the his content, following the trend to give what he feels with get the highest number of clicks. This has got him a lot of money because he felt the mood of the far right and edged his bias towards that demographic.

So if the BBC are not to be trusted according to some on here. What are your trusted media resources?

By your use of the phrase 'far right', you have lost a lot of credibility with your posts (although it was obvious that you had a bias). Far right is a bit tired now, why not use the GOV.UK definition of terrorism instead. It would appear that it covers 70% of the British population (some think that is a conservative estimate). :giggle:

In your opinion! Far right is still a thing unless you live under a rock. What would you call it? I do have a bias to far right and also to far left, so where is the problem? This guy is a monetised Youtuber, so makes content that people are most likely to click on and like. If the mood changed and Farage went out of favour with the right, he would change his content to suit whatever makes the money.

Edit: And what has the far right to do with terrorism?

Describe 'Far Right'?

But here is what the Google bot says.

"No, "far right" is not an out-of-date concept. It continues to be a relevant term used to describe extremist political ideologies and movements on the right-wing of the political spectrum. Far-right ideology, encompassing views like white supremacy, cultural nationalism, and anti-immigration sentiments, remains a significant concern in many countries. "

You can't Google? I would have thought you knew what it was as you are denying it exists!
I was hoping for your personal assessment of the phrase, not Googles.

As I did not get an answer (not unusual) I am dropping out of this thread as it is going nowhere.

OK, anyone on the far right of centre. Simple really. As Google says, it is still relevant, everyone understands what is meant, except pedants of course, who have obvious right leanings. They normally deny it exists, because it tars them with a brush they may be destined for, but don't like it. So, any racists! Anyone who would incite violence to get others to do their dirty work against minorities. Anyone who would vote for Farage, fully knowing what he stands for, that discounts a lot of reform voters who have no idea the full extent of his plans for the UK. yes, those that believe the horror stories about immigrants being to cause of all our woes, rather than grifters who are only in it for the money.

I could go on, but it will fall on deaf ears, so not much point really. But question. Where do you put Yaxley Lennon and the EDL on the political scale? Or the other groups like the BNP, the NF and the British Movement? All still about and operating, including at Southport where someone stirred the hatred but saying it was an asylum seeker who committed those evil acts.

So I was spot on with my answer then.

Nail on the head there. He knows just how to get the Gammonati foaming at the mouth, and it doesn't take much.

I've always enjoyed the irony, that the person who epitomises the gammon aesthetic the best is RickyTomlinson. Ricky is (y) in my book.

I started watching some of his videos quite some time back, whilst some appear to be informative I have experience of a couple of court decisions which according to him would have been decided by 'case law', well he was wrong, so much for being an expert. I gave up watching his channel when it became just him ranting against Starmer, I might not agree with all that Starmer does, but I'm not bothering listening to a channel which spends all it's time trying to criticise him.

Me too (oh heck) , that's another movement.

It's like the good old days of Wintonian v Tezza (not the Tezza 33).

It's always good for a larf though eh. 😂😂😂.

Yeah, Tezza who lead the rock and roll lifestyle and then reformed. I also remember the famous Wintonian v Northerner v John H spats.
