Update first:
If you are new to the car park the height barrier may be closed, go to the kiosk and they will open it for you. I'd say offhand the entry barriers would allow something 9 feet wide but not more.
The buses go into Venice regularly from the end of the street and they do indeed take cash. Once into Piazzale Roma I buy a ticket of 10 journeys. (the max amount) This costs €13.
The boat that goes into Venice is €10 per person one way, €20 return. I've only ever seen it open twice, there does not seem to be any pattern. Perhaps it's only on public holidays?
My van is 19 feet long 7.6" wide and 11ft tall. The grass-over-gravel camper park has had anything from 2 to 9 vans in whilst I've been here. I've never seen a British one yet.
