I've just Googled 'david m edes brudes hill inverness' and came up with a page full. He looks like a serial letter writer who may well have moved onto his next subject already. Try Googling it.

What about a van with windows, which is what most self built campervans are classed as now, would they have to pay the charge? According to the DVLA they are not a motorhome.

What a stupid idea, I use my motorhome to visit my sister in Aberdeen, not to go camping. Are all vans expected to pay, after all they might be 'stealth campers'?

There are lots of stupid ideas doing the rounds at the moment due to C-19 backlash, with idiocy on both sides of the fence, imho.

The letter-writing guy obviously fancies himself as a bit of prima donna. He was on that daft reality TV program Come Dine With Me. Seems there were many others who also thought he was a miserable g*t on the program.

Anyway, slow news days and the papers will publish any old garbage.

I still think the majority of the great British public are pretty oblivious of motorhomes and campervans.
I've said it before in previous threads - we should be careful not to do too much navel gazing or worriting and just quietly and sensibly get on with what we like to do, the occasional idiot notwithstanding.
