How many people use and review the POI's?

I've said it before, and no doubt I'll say it again ....

When someone has no personal incentive for doing optional updating of a data repository, then the majority of people will not update the data.
Relying on altruism for colleagues doesn't work.

I introduced a rule in a company that expenses claims involving a customer visit would not be paid unless a printed visit report from the customer database was attached. Updating of customer data increased dramatically.

Fortunately that's not the case or we would have no charity workers, and who would man the RNLI lifeboats.
You have taken my quote of of context.

The quote specifically referred to the voluntary input of data into a database when the submitter doesn't benefit from doing so.
e.g. updating of POI information.

I fully accept that charity workers do unpaid work that benefits others.
BTW For over 30 years my wife has been a trustee (unpaid) for a multi million £ turnover charity that supports people on the Autism spectrum, and since retirement she has become vice chair of the board working 20-30 hours every week.

I don't always use the web page app because it is a bit slow and clunky. I install the poi files into my satnav and navigate them and/or look them on Street View.
When I do use the app, in the past I've found that the report/review feature never worked, but I tried it a few weeks ago and was surprised to find that it worked. I shall try it again in future.

I find it difficult getting the cross to go green over the right spot. Don't want to give wrong info. Is it possible just to add coordinates to identify spot ?

I do not use the app unless an offline version is available. I just use the satnav and yes sometimes, even though I update my sat nav some sites posted are not suitable.

Try zooming in closer to the map to make the cross more accurate. Once you select the location, you should be able to edit the coordinates in the box.

TBH I mainly use my membership fee to access the POIs. They are so useful! I'm not one for chit chat I'm afraid so don't add much to other threads.
The POIs are brilliant! But only as good as the input they receive from users.
I'm currently wending my way up the coast from the Forth Bridge. Near Fraserburgh at the mo. I've been adding reviews/ verifications all the way. I use a combination of the 2 other big apps and this one. I'll add a location to here if I find it on one of the others. Yesterday we stopped at a place I found on here that wasn't on the others. Quite a find! I didn't add that to the other sites.
So please. Keep your reviews coming. We need to keep the POIs relevant. If they are no longer useful then membership may drop.
Finally, can I say thanks to all of you who keep this site so useful.
We're parked up at a free aire in France that you reviewed last year.
Beaulon- and yes it's a cracking spot.

We are towards the end of 6 weeks in France & Spain. I have verified every POI I could, and reviewed every one we've stopped at. I've also added one or two. I would have added more, if I'd had signal at the time.
For me, the reviews are so helpful when deciding where to head next.

Currently on a French free aire at Meung-sur-Loire. Name Orlean? Last verified 13/11/2020, yet reviewed by TJBi on 21/10/23.🤔

I haven't verified and reviewed it yet, as we are here until tomorrow.
Must try to do better!
It can happen if one reviews more than 30 days after the visit (see rules for verifying), but I have no excuse, as I was there only 19 days prior to the review.
