I’ve eaten some crap in my life but I draw the line at pot noodles and tinned pies. 🤢🤮

Army surplace "rat-pack" works fine for me, all contents can be eaten hot or cold and the patrol packs come with chemical heating if you want a smaller option.

What about cornbeef n tatties to make a hash.
The potatoes have to be instant mash to meet the storage criteria and it is too similar to haggis & mash, so we tend to alternate these. (i.e after we have eaten the haggis we replace it with corned beef then haggis again.)
We keep foil packs of Rosti potatoes from Lidl well over 12 mths shelf life 😋😋
Haven't heard of those, sounds a good idea. Possibly with a tinned pie of some sort.

“Tart Spaghetti” made by heating a tin of tomatoes dried herbs and chilli poured over boiled spaghetti. (Embellished with anything else you have in van whilst travelling such as add garlic, onions or peppers to the sauce and grated hard cheese over the spaghetti - delicious!

Tin pink salmon with baby potatoes :)

Already on the list. :)

(Fresh baby potatoes don't meet the storage criteria so we us tinned potatoes)

I did a check the other day and we have two emergency meals
1) Tinned Potatoes; tinned Salmon and tinned Artichoke Hearts
2) Sainsburys instant Mash (the best instant mash); tinned Haggis; and Ratatouille

Lidl only get them in during the month of October for their Oktoberfest promo and w3 usually buy enough to see us through to the next Octobe.
