Vans dried Merl, neighbours not happy mind. I live at the top of a steep cul-de-sac and there’s water, grey waste, engine, gearbox and diff oil running down the road
Yup drained the van ,waste water tank and toilet. Also brought the bottles of beer in out of the dogs paddling pool that were keeping cool.
. Didn`t expect the cold weather.
I put a extra ltr of antifreez down my sink plug hole because the pipe goes down under the van and up to almost top of tank, so the low bit remains full of water and could freeze and burst, it wont now.
I forgot to drain ours whe we got home and to be honest too knackered to fart about getting to the valve.
Anyhoo, I just went down to do it, and thought I'd measure the drain (sorry) on the leisure battery, NONE, even on this cloudy day the sun is still enough to charge while it's working
But note the time 10@24 I had been running the pump for little while before I took that, the taps started sputtering at 10:31 so I turned the pump off, and lifted the drain valve to be sure, to be sure. so it pumped for at least 8 minutes and there was still plenty of water to comeout of the boiler etc after the sputtering.
