Hate uk winter

Sod winter, I hate it. Give me sunshine every day.

Winter:

High heating costs, damp towels and clothes, mud, slippery roads/pavements, poor visibility, dark most of the day, condensation, colds & flu, higher blood pressure, wet and muddy dog, Christmas (aarrrggghhh!), SAD, indoors most of the time, grumpy people, plus so many other negatives.

Summer:

Out every day, long dog walks, happy people, light all day long. Warm - mmmmm. :)

You need to move south, for me there is still no need for heating :)

Agree with Molly, cold and dry winters were fine but these grey and constantly wet ones of recent times are depressing. I'm west pennines so only got myself to blame 😆

Mind you I would die of boredom in East Anglia so best stop here

I'm as far south as I can get in the UK (Isle of Wight) without moving to Cornwall. I'd love to move to a warmer country, but I've only just got a new flat here.

I know what you mean, at least I am in west East Anglia.

Did you know though, despite East Anglia being as flat as a witches pancake, we do have our own mountain rescue team!

Wind and rain I hate (except it saves me having to water the garden), whichever season it is. I do love summer, but winter is fab too, just wish we could have 2 foot of snow, as we still love sledging down the drive.😬😂😂😂.

Urban myth or true; when you had to do a hill start as part of your driving test in East Anglia the instructor would have to take you to a railway crossing?

I would risk it😍
I like winter when it is either snowing or a dry bright day, I don't like rain or wind because of wet dogs and the van rocking for the wrong reasons

I would risk it to, but for two reasons I can’t.
First my wife won’t let me, second I don’t know two 21 year old blondes who would be intersted. 😟

Two foot of snow sounds good to me.
Don't really care if its summer or winter, same old nonsense. 😂

Get a whippet....

You'll never have a muddy dog again
(or a sofa to sit on, a bed of your own, any food left not under lock and key, any space of your own, any 'Me' time....etc etc)
